The main goal of the camps is that kids have FUN and positive experiences of the camp. They should feel great at the camp and at the end of it they should be excited about the tutors and the camp.
It is important to take the kids seriously. Hence it should be clear that any shouting, screaming, beating of a tutor cannot and will not be tolerated.
It is the duty of a tutor to always be respectful to the children.
On the other side you can be clear and strict about the behaviour of the children!
1) Tutor - Participant
never be alone with ONE child in a room!!
Swimming pool: watch out with the water fights!
2) Violence
NEVER shout with a child - be calm - let another tutor act if you are out of mind!
NEVER beat a child!
to respect the dignity of the children, regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, social, ethnic and cultural origin
to act against discrimination of any kind and to treat all children entrusted to us fairly
to clearly reject any form (words, gestures, actions) of physical, psychological and in particular sexual violence or sexual assault and, if necessary, to take action against it
to respect the personal boundaries of those entrusted to us and to respect their privacy and to behave accordingly
to immediately seek advice from external experts (e.g. multipliers of the course or aid organizations) in the event of observed border crossings and to take appropriate steps in consultation with them to endeavor to find open, fair and humane solutions in the event of conflicts and to seek external support if necessary
to convey and actively represent fair play as an important maxim of sport, in particular compliance with sport-specific rules and the rejection of any performance manipulation (e.g. cheating, doping)
to support the personal responsibility and independence of the participans and to give them sufficient opportunities for co-determination
to recognize that the interests of participants, their health and well-being take precedence over the interests and goals of others
in addition, to the best of our ability, to instruct participants on social behavior in the sports community and on the necessary respect for others as well as on dealing with nature and the environment in a responsible manner
